I had the pleasure of making the score for the upcoming short film “Hundedagene” by director Kitty Frobenius. It stars among other Viktoria Winge. Opening at Kortfilmfestivalen in Grimstad this summer.
Last year I was busy writing my first score for a film, together with my good friend and collaborator Erik Johannessen.
The film will be premiering in cinemas across Norway Juy 3rd 2020, and we are very happy with the sounds we have been making for this feelgood movie.
Last year I made the music for the great drama series “Etter Lørdag”. It’s a very honest story about a young woman in Oslo who suddenly ends up in a very difficult situation. It’s produced by Maipo Film, directed by the amazing Liv Mari Ulla Mortensen and was shown on TV2. It was awarded the price of “best short series” at Cannes Series.
I’m really enjoyed music supervising the film “Håp” (“Hope”), starring among others Stellan Skarsgård and Andrea Bræin Hovig.
Directed by the talented Maria Sødahl, it’s a very moving film which I’m proud to be a small part of. It debuted to rave reviews at Toronto International Film Festival, as well as getting a very warm welcome by the Norwegian press.
In 2017 I worked closely with director Joachim Trier, as a music supervisor on his latest film “Thelma”. The movie became a box office hit in Norway and won a lot of international acclaim, and it’s a really great film. Most of the music we put in there is Scandinavian, with some American additions.
